Did you know you can make your own home-made beauty products? Try these simple ideas :
Grind the oats in a coffee grinder or food processor. Mix with the brown sugar, add the lemon juice and a little water so that it forms a paste. Massage into damp skin, leave for 10 minutes and rinse with warm water.
Mash up the flesh of a ripe papaya. Massage it into the face and neck. The natural fruit acids help to get rid of dead skin cells and the vitamin C boosts the complexion.
Scoop out the flesh of an avocado and mash it up adding a squirt of lemon juice. Massage into your face and neck, then rinse with warm water. This is a great cleanser, and it firms and moisturises the skin.
Apply natural yogurt to the face and leave for at least 10 minutes. Rinse with warm water.
For dry skin, use olive oil to moisturise the face and neck. Add a drop of lavender, jasmine or rose essential oils to give the olive oil a gorgeous fragrance.
To reduce puffiness and revive tired eyes, put two used tea bags in the fridge for 20 minutes, then place them on closed eyes for 10 minutes. ![]()
